Abstract: ABSTRACT Hybrid Plasma-Based Intelligent Biomedical Waste Disinfection and Energy Recovery System for Radiology Departments The present disclosure discloses a hybrid plasma-based intelligent biomedical waste disinfection and energy recovery system (100) for radiology departments. The system (100) comprises an input chamber (102) configured to receive and segregate biomedical waste using an AI/ML-based mechanism, a hybrid plasma chamber (104) for multi-modal sterilization using cold plasma, UV-C radiation, and ozone, and a closed-loop vacuum containment system (106) for maintaining a sealed, radiation-shielded environment. A nanofilter and ROS treatment unit (108) is provided for purification of liquid effluents, while an energy recovery module (110) converts excess thermal and plasma energy into electrical energy.
