MUMBAI, India, Aug. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641097794 A) filed by Dr. Y. Prashanthi; and Prashanth Venukathala on August 13, 2026, for Hybrid Nanoformulation Platform For Novel Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.

Inventors include Dr. Y. Prashanthi; and Prashanth Venukathala.

The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.

Abstract: HYBRID NANOFORMULATION PLATFORM FOR NOVEL ACTIVE PHARMACEUTICAL INGREDIENTS The present invention relates to a hybrid nanoformulation platform comprising one or more active pharmaceutical ingredients, one or more polymers, one or more lipids, one or more surfactants or stabilizers, and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers. The platform enables formation of nanoparticles, nanocrystals, nanosuspensions, nanoemulsions, liposomes, polymeric nanoparticles, lipid nanoparticles, and hybrid lipid-polymer nanoparticles. The formulation improves solubility, dissolution, permeability, stability, bioavailability, pharmacokinetic performance, controlled release, targeted delivery, and therapeutic efficacy of active pharmaceutical ingredients. The invention further provides scalable manufacturing processes including nanoprecipitation, solvent evaporation, wet milling, high-pressure homogenization, spray drying, electrospraying, microfluidization, and supercritical fluid processing.
