MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617069227 A) filed by Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. Kg on June 02, 2026, for Hybrid Module Comprising Receiving Holes Which Allow The Hybrid Module To Be Secured To A Flywheel, Construction Kit Comprising A Hybrid Module And A Flywheel Which Is Secured Via Flywheel Screws, And Powertrain Comprising Said Elements.
Inventor includes Hgel, Christian.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to a hybrid module (1), in particular a P2 hybrid module, comprising a damper input component (3) which is designed to be secured to a crankshaft (2) that can be moved by an internal combustion engine and which is connected to a torsional vibration damper (4) and comprising a (K0) separating clutch (5) which is arranged downstream of the torsional vibration damper (4) in the torque running direction from an internal combustion engine to a transmission and the output part of which is connected to an output hub (6) designed to be secured to a rotor, wherein multiple first through-holes (7) are provided in the damper input component (3) in order to receive crankshaft screws (8) which are designed to secure the damper input component (3) to a component fixed to the crankshaft; multiple second through-holes (9) are provided in the output hub (6), said second through-holes (10) being arranged at a location which is offset to the first through-holes (7) in the axial direction (22) and which allows access to the crankshaft screws (8); and multiple receiving holes (10) are provided in the output hub (6) in order to receive flywheel screws (11) which are designed to rotationally fix the output hub (6) to a transmission input component. The invention also relates to a construction kit comprising such a hybrid module (1) and to a powertrain in which the aforementioned elements are contained.
