Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a hybrid mission-convertible unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) configured for surveillance, reconnaissance, disaster management, emergency response, defence, and payload delivery operations. The UAV comprises a hybrid structural frame including aluminium support arms secured to a stainless-steel central base plate, providing enhanced structural strength, vibration resistance, and payload support. A modular three-dimensional printed top shell protects internal electronics while improving aerodynamics and component integration. The UAV incorporates a propulsion system, a stabilized gimbal-mounted camera with vibration-isolated mounting, an illumination module for low-light operation, and a controlled payload deployment mechanism integrated within the central frame. A mission-conversion interface enables rapid reconfiguration between surveillance and payload- delivery missions without altering the primary airframe. The modular architecture supports interchangeable payloads and mission- specific equipment while maintaining flight stability and performance. The integrated design provides a versatile, durable, and scalable UAV platform suitable for civilian, industrial, emergency-response, and defence applications.
