The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The invention is related to a hybrid magnetic-mechanically actuated self-locking threaded fastener assembly which is intended to prevent the unintentional loosening of nut under vibration, cyclic loading, and impact forces. This assembly includes a threaded bolt and a locking nut which consists an internal cavity with keyway, an axial cavity containing an integrated combination of serrated washer, permanent magnetic insert and flux-plate. The generated integrated hybrid magnetic-mechanical force continuously forces the locking elements into the threads restricting the loosening or relative rotational movement. The locking action does not require any external power source or manual actuation. The disengagement of nut and bolt can be possible by applying a predetermined torque sufficient to loosen elements. This invention is reusable, compact, and reliable solution for safety-critical mechanical and structural applications.
