Abstract: A hybrid carbon dioxide capture and energy demonstration system and method are disclosed. The system comprises a carbon dioxide source arrangement including a biogenic carbon dioxide source module and an ambient air intake, a gas routing assembly configured to selectively route carbon dioxide, and a capture module comprising a solid sorbent material arranged in a dual-bank configuration enabling continuous adsorption and regeneration. A regeneration unit is configured to desorb carbon dioxide at a temperature between 80°C and 100°C. A conditioning assembly regulates moisture content and pressure of the carbon dioxide. Conditioned carbon dioxide is directed to an energy recovery module configured to convert kinetic and/or pressure energy into electrical output and/or to a storage or utilization module. A control and interface system monitors operational parameters and provides real-time visualization, and a safety alert assembly is configured to generate alerts and initiate controlled shutdown upon detection of predefined conditions. The method comprises routing, adsorption, regeneration, conditioning, and distribution steps, thereby enabling continuous and energy- efficient carbon dioxide capture and system operation.
