Inventors include Dr. S. Manikandan; Mr. K. Anguraju; Mr. M. Thangadurai; Mr. R. Madana Chitran; Mrs. S. Suganya; and Mr. M. Mohankumar.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses the development of a hybrid artificial intelligence framework for facilitating autonomous evidence processing and improving the investigation of cybercrimes. The hybrid AI framework consists of multi-agent systems, deep learning anomaly detection, and transformer-based processing which helps in efficient evidence processing, correlation of digital artifacts, and reconstruction of event timelines. With the hybrid system consisting of automated real-time processing of artifacts and human-in-the- loop validation, chain-of-custody is maintained and the workload of the investigators is minimized. It also guarantees that the evidence obtained is legally admissible. The experimental results have proved the efficiency of the framework, where there has been a decrease in processing times along with precise detection of zero-day attacks and malicious activities.
