MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631042525 A) filed by Ipfc-Giet University Cell on April 02, 2026, for Hvac Condensate-Based Nutrient Reconstruction System For Rooftop Agriculture.

Inventor includes B. Vikram Anand.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT HVAC CONDENSATE-BASED NUTRIENT RECONSTRUCTION SYSTEM FOR ROOFTOP AGRICULTURE 5 The present invention relates to a HVAC condensate-based adaptive nutrient reconstruction system (100) for rooftop agriculture. The system (100) comprises HVAC units (1, 2, 3) configured to generate condensate, a collection network including drainage lines (4, 5, 6) and a primary collection manifold (7), and treatment units including a pre-filtration unit (10) and a sterilisation unit (11). A 10 sensor array (17) and a control unit (18) are configured to monitor and analyse water quality. A nutrient reconstruction assembly comprising a macro-nutrient dosing unit (19), a micro-nutrient dosing unit (20), and a pH buffer dosing unit (21) is configured to enrich the condensate. A distribution network delivers treated water to crop zones (31–34) based on inputs from databases (39, 40) and a central control 15 system (41). The system enables efficient reuse of condensate water, adaptive nutrient management, and optimized irrigation.
