A microcontroller unit (20) executes a signal conditioning module (30), a feature extraction module (40), and a stress determination module (50) to compute a stress indicator (S) based on individualized baseline thresholds. An on-device indicator (60) provides real-time feedback, while a wireless communication interface (80) transmits data to a remote monitoring platform (70) comprising a network server (71), data store (72), visualization interface (73), and alert engine (74) for remote supervision and caregiver alerts in healthcare and assisted living applications.
