Ltd. on February 19, 2025, for Human Machine Interface (hmi) For A Variable Frequency Drive (vfd), And Method Of Configuring Thereof.

Abstract: A HMI (104) for a VFD (102) is disclosed. The HMI (104) comprises a hot-swappable touch-based display (208) comprising a controller (210) configured to perform wireless upgrade of firmware associated with at least one of: control and HMI (104) of the VFD (104). In an aspect, to upgrade the firmware, the controller (210) is configured to identify an existence of upgraded firmware for each of a plurality of processors (204) associated with the VFD (104). The controller (210) is further configured to extract a plurality of files corresponding to the upgraded firmware for at least one processor of the plurality of processors (210). The controller (210) is further configured to halt an operation of the VFD (102). Further, the controller (210) is configured to install the upgraded firmware. The controller (210) is further configured to perform one of: self-data logging and remote communication with a server (402). [Figure 2]
