The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for detecting human presence using a hybrid approach combining facial detection and clothing color analysis. The system captures visual input, preprocesses image data, and detects facial regions using a convolutional neural network. A clothing region is localized relative to the detected face, and color features are extracted using color space transformations and histogram-based representations. The extracted features are analyzed using machine learning classifiers to distinguish human-related patterns from non-human objects. The system combines outputs from facial detection and color-based classification to generate a final detection result. The invention provides improved robustness under occlusion, pose variation, and environmental changes, while maintaining computational efficiency suitable for real-time applications.
