Abstract: A hub handling apparatus (100) for handling wheel hubs of vehicles includes a base frame (102) constructed from a rigid structural material and mounted on a plurality of castor wheels (104) to enable mobility across a workshop floor, wherein the base frame (102) is equipped with a handle (106) connected thereto for manual movement of the apparatus. A height adjustment mechanism (108) is mounted on the base frame (102) and configured to provide vertical adjustment of a working platform (114), wherein the height adjustment mechanism (108) includes a worm gear (110), a worm shaft (112), and a mechanical piston (116) operatively coupled to enable controlled vertical displacement of the working platform (114). A swivel base plate (118) is mounted on top of the height adjustment mechanism (108) and configured to enable 360-degree rotation about a vertical axis. A fixture plate (120) is attached to the swivel base plate (118) and configured to receive and support a hub and a brake drum assembly (126), wherein the fixture plate (120) includes a mounting interface (122) configured to secure the hub and brake drum assembly (126) using an existing wheel nut arrangement of the vehicle.
