MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617098508 A) filed by Nippon Steel Corporation on August 14, 2026, for Hot-Rolled Annealed Steel Sheet For Grain-Oriented Electrical Steel Sheets.
Inventors include Morimoto Shota; and Nakamura Shuichi.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: This hot-rolled annealed steel sheet for grain-oriented electrical steel sheets has a grain diameter/number density distribution regarding precipitate grains having equivalent-circle diameters D of 50-1,000 nm, wherein the modal diameter Dp is 50-350 nm, the number density f(Dp) at the modal diameter is 1,000,000 grains/g or greater, and the value obtained by dividing the half-value width Wp at the modal diameter by the modal diameter Dp, Wp/Dp, is 0.75-2.25. Regarding precipitate grains having equivalent-circle diameters D of 1,000 nm and larger, the hot-rolled annealed steel sheet satisfies the following: the number Call of all the precipitate grains is 38 grains/mm2 or less; the number Cnitride of precipitate grains containing nitrogen as a main component is 30 grains/mm2 or less; and the average equivalent-circle diameter ave-Dnitride of the precipitate grains containing nitrogen as a main component is 1,450 nm or less.
