Abstract: The present application discloses a host, a system and a control method, which belong to the field of storage technology. Wherein the system includes a host and a memory system, and the host sends an identifier which is to indicate the peak power capability supported by the host to a memory controller of the memory system through configuring a first interface. After receiving the identifier through the second interface, the memory controller determines the peak power management policy according to the identifier, and processes the I/O request according to the determined peak power management policy. Employing the present application, the memory controller of the memory system is capable to sense the peak power capability supported by the host, and then may determine the peak power management policy according to the sensed peak power capability, so that the full storage performance of the memory system may be reached.
