MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441096283 A) filed by Electromac Automation on December 06, 2024, for Hollow Core Post-Processing Machine.
Inventor includes P Jaisankar.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: The invention discloses a CNC-controlled hollow core post-processing machine designed for precision internal surface finishing of tubular components. The machine comprises a fabricated base frame with a front half-radius profile, an eccentrically mounted stress-relieved vertical support column, and linear guide rails supporting a vertically movable carriage. A spindle head unit mounted on the carriage houses multiple honing spindles powered by an induction motor. A servo-driven linear axis ensures accurate vertical motion. An automated rotary indexing table transfers components between stations, synchronized with the honing cycle. The system includes a dual-stage oil filtration unit, coolant reservoir, and digital gauges for pre- and post-process measurement. A CNC control cabinet facilitates parameter programming and operation sequencing. Safety features include jig plates and overload-triggering safety bushes to prevent tool damage. The compact, efficient design enhances productivity, reduces downtime, and ensures high surface finish quality in hollow cylindrical parts.
