Abstract: The invention provides a hollow casted swing arm (100) of a vehicle (10), the hollow casted swing arm comprising: a first arm (102) defining a first proximal end (104), a first distal end (106), a first intermediate portion (108) and a first inner surface (126); a second arm (110) defining a second proximal end (112), a second distal end (114), a second intermediate portion (116) and a second inner surface (130); a third arm (118) connecting the first and the second arms and comprising comprises a front facing lateral wall (134); and at least one of a first aperture (120), a second aperture (122), and a third aperture (124) provided on one of the first inner surface proximate to the first proximal end, the second inner surface proximate to the second proximal end and the front facing lateral wall for enabling removal of material from the hollow casted swing arm.
