Abstract: This holding device (1) comprises a holding part (2) that includes a first part (31) for holding a first surface of a capacitor, the first surface facing a first direction, and a second part (32) for holding a second surface of the capacitor, the second surface facing a second direction intersecting the first direction, and that detachably holds the capacitor. The holding device (1) comprises a bottom part (3) that faces a mounting surface (F) when the holding device (1) is mounted. An inner space (40) is formed inside the holding device (1), the inner space (40) including a first space (41) defined by the first part (31) and the bottom part (3), and a second space (42) defined by the second part (32) and the bottom part (3) and communicating with the first space (41). The holding device (1) comprises, in the second space (42), a wind generation part (80) that facilitates flow of air through the first space (41) and the second space (42).
