Abstract: HIGH VELOCITY BLOW-OFF VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR REAR SHOCK ABSORBER Abstract Disclosed is a high velocity blow-off valve assembly that can be retrofitted on an existing piston rod (90) of a rear shock absorber of a two-wheeler vehicle, for controlling compression damping at high velocities. The assembly (200) comprises at least one plunger mechanism with a valve cap (180) installed inside a casing (140). The assembly (200) is fitted through a threaded interface, to the piston rod (90) provided with orifices. When the velocity increases during compression damping, the flow of oil through the orifices of the piston rod is controlled by the plunger mechanism thereby providing improved damper response with digressive damping curve on large and sharp-edged bumps without harshness.
