Abstract: A high-tension wire insulation removal device comprises of a platform 101 positioned over a surface with plurality of motorized wheels 102 to maneuver platform 101, a microphone 103 to provide input commands regarding removal of an insulation layer from a high tension wire, an imaging unit 104 to detect presence of high tension wire, an inverted L-shaped telescopic rod 105 to extend and position a voltage detector 106 over cable to detect high voltage in cable, a telescopic bar 108 to extend and positon a motorized gripping unit 107 over wire to extend and grip wire in a secured manner, a telescopic link 110 to extend and position a C-shape member 109 around wire, a motorized cutting unit 111 to remove insulated layer without damaging wire, an inverted L-shaped telescopic gripper 112 installed over rod 105 to grip cut insulation layer and dispose insulation layer into a chamber.
