Abstract: A high tension cable cutting and removal assistive device, comprising an extendable L-shaped body 101 consisting a proximal end attached with a handle 102 that is gripped by a user to position a distal end near to a high tension cable, a microphone 103 allows the user to provide voice commands regarding removal of the cable, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 to determine distance of the cable, an angle sensor to monitor angle of the distal end, a motorized hinge joint to orient the body 101, a motorized clamp 105 to grip the cable, a motorized cutting unit 106 to cut the cable, an electronically controlled nozzle 107 to dispense SF6 gas onto the arc, a proximity sensor detects type of joint at connection point of the cable and a touch display panel 109 to display several parameters monitored while the removal process.
