Abstract: Provided is a high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel sheet which has a tensile strength of 780 MPa or more and excellent hydrogen desorption properties. Specifically provided is a high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel sheet which comprises a base material steel sheet and a hot-dip galvanization layer that is formed on the surface of the base material steel sheet, wherein: the base material steel sheet has a specific component composition; the hot-dip galvanization layer internally comprises cracks that extend from the surface of the hot-dip galvanization layer to the interface between the base material steel sheet and the hot-dip galvanization layer, and are continuous with a crystal grain boundary, in which an oxide is present, of the base material steel sheet at the interface between the base material steel sheet and the hot- dip galvanization layer; the density of the cracks is 10 per mm or more; and the tensile strength is 780 MPa or more.
