MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611056844 A) filed by Mr. A. K. Dembla on May 05, 2026, for High Pressure Grinding Roller With Machined Grooved High-Chrome Outer Layer.
Inventor includes Mr. A. K. Dembla.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a high-pressure grinding roller (100) with machined grooved high-chrome outer layer. The high- pressure grinding roller (100) comprises a cylindrical core portion (101) and an outer wear-resistant high chrome layer (102) metallurgically bonded to the cylindrical core portion (101). The outer wear-resistant high chrome layer (102) is bonded to the cylindrical core portion (101) through a composite casting process selected from centrifugal casting or static composite casting using a bonding shell layer, and has a defined thickness and surface hardness to provide resistance to abrasive wear. The plurality of grooves (103) are formed on an external surface of the outer wear-resistant high chrome layer (102), wherein the plurality of grooves (103) are curved grooves extending along an axial direction of the high-pressure grinding roller (100) and are formed by machining operations including milling or grinding directly on the outer wear-resistant high chrome layer (102).
