Abstract: The present invention discloses materials, designs and method of preparation for a commercially viable capacitive based relative humidity sensor having linear output with minimum hysteresis and temperature dependency. Capacitive humidity sensor comprising a water impermeable bottom electrode, preferably silver electrode on an insulating substrate, water permeable top electrode, preferably graphene-based electrode and water sensitive polymer, preferably polyimide, based dielectric material sandwiched between the electrodes. A printable ink composition of graphene based conductive ink is also disclosed which consist of graphene, one or more conductive additives such as activated carbon and/or metal powders, a dispersant, polymer binder and suitable solvent(s). Method of formation of an RH sensor using screen printing method is also disclosed. Fig. 1
