The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT HIERARCHICAL SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTED SENSOR FUSION A hierarchical surveillance system (100) comprises a leaf layer comprising leaf layer sensor nodes (110), each comprising a motion sensor (112), an accelerometer (114), and a microcontroller (116) configured to detect activity, execute a machine learning model to validate the detected activity, analyze motion data to confirm human gait characteristics, and transmit a wake signal to an intermediate layer (120) using a connectionless peer-to-peer wireless protocol. The intermediate layer (120) comprises a first intermediate node (122) configured to acquire visual data and a second intermediate node (124) configured to acquire audio data and force data, and transmits acquired sensor data to a gateway layer (130) using a publish-subscribe messaging protocol. The gateway layer (130) computes a confidence score, performs false-positive detection, and forwards validated data to a command center (140) comprising a processing unit configured to execute analytical models and generate a threat score.
