The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer-implemented digital cartography synthesis system for semantic alignment between user- specified mapping intent and generated map artifacts. Traditional map generation systems produce cartographic outputs from natural language descriptions without maintaining an representation of mapping intent throughout intermediate map generation stages. thereby resulting in inconsistencies between intended mapping objectives and generated map representations. The present invention addresses such limitations through a hierarchical semantic intent alignment and constraint propagation architecture in which mapping intent extracted from natural language input is transformed into a structured intent constraint graph and propagated across one or more map generation stages comprising geographic feature planning, thematic layer planning. spatial layout planning. cartographic styling. map composition, or combinations thereof. prior to generation of a map artifact. The invention further comprises a map intent alignment engine configured to evaluate correspondence between the generated map artifact and the structured intent representation, and a refinement controller configured to perform corrective map synthesis operations responsive to alignment deficiencies identified during evaluation. Accordingly. the disclosed invention provides a semantic intent alignment architecture for automated map generation within digital cartograplhy applications.
