Abstract: ABSTRACT HERBAL SKIN EXFOLIATING COMPOSITION The present invention relates to an herbal skin exfoliating composition for topical application to human skin. The herbal skin exfoliating composition comprises a plant-derived mechanical exfoliating component, a plant-derived enzymatic exfoliating component, at least one supportive botanical constituent, and a dermatologically acceptable topical carrier. The plant-derived mechanical exfoliating component and the plant-derived enzymatic exfoliating component are present together to provide a dual exfoliation system, while the at least one supportive botanical constituent supports skin compatibility during exfoliation. The herbal skin exfoliating composition facilitates removal of dead skin cells from an outer skin layer, improves skin texture, supports pore cleansing, and promotes a fresher skin appearance. The composition is suitable for controlled plant-based exfoliation of human skin.
