Abstract: ABSTRACT Herbal Pharmaceutical Composition Containing Boswellia Serrate And Boenninghausenia Albiflora For Enhanced Wound Healing 5 10 15 The present invention relates to a polyherbal topical pharmaceutical composition for wound healing. The composition comprises extracts of Boswellia serrata and Boenninghausenia albiflora along with pharmaceutically acceptable excipients suitable for topical administration. The extracts are obtained through solvent extraction and contain bioactive phytoconstituents such as flavonoids, phenolics, alkaloids, tannins, and terpenoids. The extracts are incorporated into a gel-based formulation having suitable physicochemical properties for dermal application. The composition exhibits antimicrobial activity against wound-associated microorganisms and promotes enhanced wound contraction and epithelialization. Experimental evaluation demonstrates improved wound healing efficacy compared to individual plant extract formulations, thereby providing a safe and effective herbal formulation for accelerating wound healing and tissue regeneration.
