MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611088828 A) filed by Uttaranchal University on July 21, 2026, for Herbal Nutraceutical Capsule Formulation Of Bombax Ceiba Enriched With Bioactive Phytoconstituents For Women’s Intimate Health (leukorrhea).

Abstract: An herbal nutraceutical capsule formulation and associated solvent-free manufacturing process use the raw fruit matrices of Bombax ceiba to provide a natural, clean- label therapeutic solution for enhancing women's intimate health, balancing vaginal microflora, and managing the clinical symptoms of leukorrhea. The physical composition comprises a fine, standardized powder derived from the unextracted whole fruit of Bombax ceiba, which contains an intact, naturally occurring phytoconstituent network of tannins, flavonoids, phenolics, glycosides, sulfur-based oils, and mucilage that deliver broad-spectrum antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and vaginal mucosal protective properties.
