Abstract: The current invention pertains to the development of a new herbal nanocream containing natural bioactive components obtained from the Pistacia vera (pistachio) shell that acts as a source of collagen stimulation and skin rejuvenation. This nanocream formulation is created using an oil-in-water nanoemulsion technique to increase its stability, bioavailability, and skin permeability. Extract from pistachio shell containing antioxidants and polyphenolic components are added to the formulation containing collagen stimulating substances such as vitamin C, niacinamide, and lysine in addition to other antioxidants such as green tea extract and Vitamin E. This herbal nanocream exhibits considerable antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and healing effects. It also helps in boosting collagen production, skin elasticity improvement, and wrinkle prevention. In addition, natural emulsifiers, stabilizers, and appropriate excipients are used to provide better physical stability, homogeneity, and shelf-life. Moreover, this invention uses agro waste from pistachio shell, which renders this invention eco-friendly and economical.
