MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511022834 A) filed by All India Institute Of Ayurveda Aiia on March 13, 2025, for Herbal Formulation And Fumigation Device For Fumigating The Same.

Abstract: A herbal formulation and a fumigation device (100) for fumigating the same is provided. The herbal formulation involves haridra extract, neem extract, and tulsi extract. The fumigation device (100) features a main body (200) fabricated using high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) sheets, and configured to house an assembly including a liquefied herb reservoir (102), a high-jet pump (106), a copper pipe (108) coiled around a rod heater (110), and an outlet nozzle (112). The fumigation device (100) emits herbal fumes generated by heating and vaporizing of the herbal formulation to disinfect the surrounding. The fumigation device has application in fumigating hospital rooms and operation theatres with herbal formulation to get rid of bacteria and virus in the atmosphere and the surface.
