The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a herbal extract-infused band-aid designed to enhance wound healing by delivering a specialized herbal extract composition directly to the wound site. The band-aid comprises an adhesive sheet made from a breathable, hypoallergenic, and optionally biodegradable material, ensuring secure attachment to the skin while allowing air circulation. Positioned beneath the adhesive sheet is a medicated gauge, a cotton-based layer impregnated with a herbal extract composition through a soaking or impregnation process. This composition includes glycerol, flaxseed, turmeric, cinnamon, pomegranate, and green chiretta, with specific proportions to optimize healing properties. Glycerol provides hydration and acts as a barrier, while turmeric's curcumin offers antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial benefits. Flaxseed enhances collagen production, cinnamon modulates cytokine activity, pomegranate promotes skin cell proliferation, and green chiretta's andrographolide supports angiogenesis. This invention is particularly beneficial in medical and healthcare fields, offering a natural and effective solution for wound care.
