Abstract: ABSTRACT Herbal Endodontic Irrigating Composition Comprising Lemon Extract and Garlic Extract, and a Process for Preparation Thereof The present invention relates to a herbal endodontic irrigating composition comprising filtered garlic extract and lemon extract and a process for preparation thereof. The composition is designed to provide improved antimicrobial activity, improved dentinal penetration, smear layer interaction and efficient irrigation performance during endodontic treatment procedures. The garlic extract is obtained by washing, peeling, pulping, straining and sequential filtration processes to obtain a particulate-reduced antimicrobial extract, while the lemon extract is obtained by controlled squeezing and filtration operations. Preferably lemon extract and garlic extract in a volumetric ratio of 2:1. The extracts are combined under controlled mixing conditions and stabilized by particulate-reduction, pH-balancing and sterile storage arrangements to provide a substantially uniform irrigating formulation. The formulation may also be in syringeable containers, cartridges, ampules or double-chamber dispensing systems designed for improved phytochemical preservation and irrigation compatibility. The disclosed formulation offers superior cleansing efficiency, better formulation stability, less particulate buildup and efficient delivery for advanced herbal endodontic irrigation uses.
