Abstract: ABSTRACT Herbal Anti-Ulcer Composition Comprising Euphorbia Tithymaloides And Berberis Aristata 5 10 15 The present invention relates to a gastroprotective pharmaceutical composition comprising plant extracts of Euphorbia tithymaloides and Berberis aristata. The composition contains bioactive phytoconstituents including alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolic compounds, tannins, and glycosides that exhibit significant antioxidant activity. The extracts are obtained using suitable solvents and combined to provide enhanced therapeutic efficacy. The composition may be formulated into pharmaceutically acceptable dosage forms suitable for oral administration. Experimental studies demonstrate that the composition exhibits free radical scavenging activity, reduces gastric acidity, increases gastric pH, and significantly decreases ulcer index in ulcer-induced models. The invention thus provides an effective plant-based composition useful for the prevention and treatment of gastric ulcers and related gastrointestinal disorders.
