The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed is a hepatoprotective syrup production system comprising a raw material preparation unit for receiving Solanum nigrum leaves and berries and producing a powdered botanical feedstock through drying and size reduction. A hydroalcoholic extraction unit extracts phytochemical constituents from the powdered botanical feedstock using an ethanol-water solvent system. A filtration and concentration unit filters extracted liquid and removes solvent under reduced pressure to produce a concentrated extract. A glycoalkaloid reduction unit reduces glycoalkaloid content of the concentrated extract by controlled treatment and filtration. A standardisation unit evaluates phenolic content, flavonoid content and glycoalkaloid concentration. A syrup formulation unit combines the concentrated extract with a sweetening agent, pH adjustment agent, preservative and water. A homogenisation and packaging unit disperses the syrup composition, conditions pH and fills the syrup composition into storage containers.
