Abstract: A henna applying assistive device for hair comprises of a frame 101 aligned with the shoulder portion of a person applying henna, wirelessly linked to a user-interface in a computing unit accessed by a hairdresser to command securing frame 101 on shoulder, the microcontroller activates an imaging unit 102 to capture and process images of shoulder to detect its dimension, a pair of motorized clamps 103 to secure the frame 101, a tray 104 allows person to lean back and position hair, preventing excess henna drips, a non-contact moisture sensor detects henna drips around the face, activating robotic links 105 with fabric 106 to wipe dripped henna, a capacitive moisture sensor tracks henna drying and activates speaker 107 to notify hairdresser when drying is complete, a sun sensor detects UV exposure and notifies the person to cover hair to prevent fading and uneven drying.
