Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a helmet compliance monitoring system comprising a video capture device mounted at an elevated fixed position relative to a monitored area, a server arrangement communicatively coupled to the video capture device, and a display unit. The server arrangement receives a live video stream, generates processed image frames, applies an artificial intelligence–based detection process to identify persons, determines helmet-worn or helmet-not-worn conditions, detects helmet non- compliance events, and generates corresponding compliance alerts for display. The system supports automated and real-time helmet monitoring in traffic and industrial environments. Additional configurations enable storage of detection outputs, execution across distributed computing environments, integration with enforcement or access-control mechanisms, mechanical stabilization of the video capture device, and supply of compliance data to virtual safety representations for risk modeling and planning.
