Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a helmet-assisted ignition lock and rider monitoring system (100) comprising a helmet unit (102) and a bike control unit (112) communicatively coupled through a wireless communication link (114). The helmet unit (102) comprises a helmet verification module (104), an alcohol detection module (106), and a drowsiness detection module (108) configured to monitor rider safety conditions. The bike control unit (112) processes the detected conditions and controls an ignition control module (116) to enable or disable vehicle ignition. An accident detection module (118) detects an accident based on acceleration or motion information. A GPS module (120) determines an accident location, and an emergency notification module (122) transmits an emergency notification comprising the determined location to a predefined recipient. The system thereby integrates preventive rider monitoring, ignition interlocking, accident detection, GPS-based location determination, and automated emergency communication for improving two-wheeler rider safety.
