Abstract: ABSTRACT A modular flame-integrated wax manipulating device is disclosed, comprising an ergonomic dual-material handle incorporating an interchangeable working-end slot system and a compact integrated gas lighter. The handle consists of a wooden grip on the working end and a plastic gas lighter housing on the distal end, forming a unified single-unit instrument. The device accepts three interchangeable working attachments - a mixing knife, a carving knife, and a hot plate - each featuring a standardized locking slot that slides into and securely engages with the receiving slot located at the working end of the handle. The compact gas lighter, positioned at the distal end of the handle, produces a small controlled flame sufficient for briefly heating the working attachments without the need for a separate external heat source. The slot-and-lock mechanism allows rapid exchange of working ends, enabling the clinician or laboratory technician to transition seamlessly between mixing, carving, and plate-heating functions within a single procedural workflow. The device is designed for use in dental laboratory and clinical settings for wax manipulation tasks including occlusal rim fabrication, wax-up procedures, and related prosthodontic and orthodontic laboratory work. The invention provides a unified, efficient, and convenient wax manipulation solution by combining multiple essential working ends and a compact integrated gas lighter into a single ergonomic instrument.
