Abstract: The invention relates to a heat exchanger for arranging in a pressure container, which has a granular adsorption material, of an adsorption dryer which is designed to dry a pressurized gas, in particular compressed air, and for transferring heat of a heat transfer medium, in particular oil, to the granular adsorption material, comprising a heating section for transferring heat from the heat transfer medium to the adsorption material, said heating section comprising multiple media lines (1202, 1402), each of which has at least one media channel, for conducting the heat transfer medium in the media line, wherein the heating section substantially has a cylindrical shape with a longitudinal axis, the media lines are arranged on multiple line planes in the direction of the longitudinal axis, the media lines are designed and are interconnected such that the heat transfer medium can flow through the media lines collectively in parallel and/or in series, adjacent line planes and/or media lines of adjacent line planes are mutually spaced in the direction of the longitudinal axis, and the media lines are designed as extruded profiled sections.
