Abstract: A health monitoring based strolling assistive device for toddlers, comprises of a L-shaped frame 101 attached with a pair of handles 102, each by means of a motorized hinge joint 103, a microphone 104 integrated in the frame 101 for aiding a user to provide input voice commands for deploying the device, a motorized hinge 105 integrated within the frame 101 for opening the frame 101, to obtain a chair-like structure, V-shaped member 106 installed on the second portion of the frame 101 and each end of the member’s leg is assembled with a wheel 110 for providing a controlled movement to the member in view of unfolding the member 106, a motorized scissor arrangement 108 arranged in between the member’s legs, for extending to deploy the wheels 110, and a FBG sensor embedded on the frame 101 for monitoring health parameters of the toddler.
