Abstract: The present invention discloses an AI-enabled digital mental health and psychological support system for students in higher education. The system comprises a gamified 13 psychological assessment module in which stress tolerance, emotional decision-making, reaction patterns and attention stability are evaluated through an interactive themed game, generating a baseline emotional profile and a happiness index score. A multimodal emotion recognition engine fuses text sentiment, voice tone, facial expression and body posture to monitor emotional state in real time. A customizable AI virtual human interacts with the student through text, voice and AR/VR sessions, providing empathetic, culturally adaptive and multilingual support. A tiered support framework combines AI first-aid guidance, trained peer connection and confidential professional counselling, while an SOS module escalates high-risk situations to human support and consented emergency contacts. Consent-governed encrypted storage protects user data, and an institutional analytics dashboard presents anonymized mental health trends without revealing individual identities. The system thereby enables continuous assessment, monitoring, intervention and improvement of student well-being in a private, engaging and affordable manner.
