The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: Hawk-bill scissors and a sewing thread cutting device for a cuff edge of a circular knitted fabric are provided, relating to the technical field of scissors, and solving the technical problem that a cutting mode of two blades moving towards each other to close is prone to interfere with other external structures and inconvenient to operate. The hawk-bill scissors include a base, an advance-retreat slider, and a hawk-bill cutter. The advance-retreat slider is in sliding connection with the base, one end of the advance-retreat slider is a driving end, and a straight cutter is fixed to the other end of the advance-retreat slider. The hawk-bill cutter is pivotably connected to the advance-retreat slider through a shaft member. When a driving mechanism or a manual thrust is applied to the driving end, the advance-retreat slider moves linearly relative to the base. The hawk-bill cutter can pivot about the shaft member under the pulling of the advance-retreat slider to close with the straight cutter to cut off a target object. The hawk-bill scissors with the structure has strong cutting capability. With linear motion of the straight cutter and the pivoting of the hawk-bill cutter, interference with an external structure can be reduced, and the operation is simple and convenient.
