Abstract: The present invention relates to a multifunctional chemical vapor protective bag, termed as a haversack (100), structured for use in chemical warfare scenarios. The haversack comprises multiple layers, with the innermost layer (108) made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric. A waterproof membrane (104) is sandwiched between an adsorbent layer (106), which is activated carbon fabric, and the outermost multifunctional textile fabric (102). This layered structure enables the bag to securely store items such as respirator masks, medical kits, detector papers, booklets, and personal decontamination equipment. The outer textile fabric offers fire resistance and antistatic properties when exposed to contaminated environments. The activated carbon fabric efficiently adsorbs toxic chemical vapors without shedding carbon, enhancing its protective capabilities. The haversack (100) provides a durable barrier against chemical agents like sulfur mustard, offering protection for over 24 hours, while also being waterproof. This combination of materials ensures superior safety and functionality in hazardous environments.
