Inventor includes Ankur Jain.

The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT HARDWARE-CONSTRAINED BATTERY TOPOLOGY GOVERNANCE SYSTEM The present invention discloses a hardware-constrained battery topology governance system (100) comprising a plurality of electrochemical cells (102), a plurality of topology-establishing switching elements (104) configured to selectively establish electrical interconnections among the electrochemical cells (102), and a topology-governance structure (106) operatively associated with the switching elements (104). The topology-governance structure (106) physically determines allowable electrochemical topologies and allowable topology transitions obtainable through operation of the switching elements (104). The topology-governance structure (106) may comprise one or more geometrical constraints, positional constraints, mechanical interlock structures, or guide structures configured to physically constrain movement of the switching elements. One or more electrochemical topologies and one or more topology transitions are rendered physically unreachable through the topology-governance structure, thereby defining a finite topology state space and topology transition space. The topology-governance structure remains operative independently of software-based control logic and governs electrochemical topology reconfiguration through physical constraints associated with the switching elements.
