The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a hardware-based audit trail recording system for ensuring tamper-resistant accounting, taxation, and financial compliance in computerized financial environments. The system comprises an independent embedded hardware apparatus operatively coupled to a host financial system for capturing accounting events at the moment of occurrence. A secure processing module having a hardware root of trust captures events in real time and cooperates with a hardware cryptographic engine and an independent real-time clock to cryptographically secure and time-stamp each event. The secured records are permanently stored in an immutable non-volatile write-once or append-only memory, thereby preventing post-record modification, deletion, or backdating. The system operates independently of host software and includes controlled read-only access for authorized audit verification. Optional tamper detection, anomaly detection, and compliance monitoring modules further enhance forensic reliability. The invention provides a robust, hardware-enforced audit trail suitable for regulatory, forensic, and high-security financial applications.
