Abstract: ABSTRACT The Offline Voice-Activated Home Automation and Appliance Control System is a standalone embedded solution designed to operate household electrical appliances using offline voice commands without depending on internet connectivity or cloud-based speech processing. The system uses an Arduino Uno in combination with a VC02 Voice Recognition Module, which is capable of storing and recognizing predefined voice commands locally. When a command is detected, the Arduino triggers a 2-channel relay module to control two electrical loads-in this case, two AC light bulbs. A Hi-Link A C-DC converter (HLK-PM05) is used to safely convert 230V AC mains to a stable 5V DC supply required to power the Arduino and relays, ensuring compactness and electrical safety. All components are assembled on a zero PCB, offering a stable and reliable prototype platform for long-term use. The system may incorporate a stereo enclosed speaker to provide audible confirmation tones for user feedback. Because the entire operation is offline and processed locally, the system is ideal for rural homes, electrically sensitive areas, elderly users, and regions without stable internet connectivity. It is affordable, easy to install, and offers instant voicebased control over lighting appliances. The design also supports future expandability, such as adding more relays, more voice commands, or integrating wireless/manual control options.
