Abstract: Methods are disclosed for a UE to handle disposition of AI/ML related measurements and data collected but not yet transmitted to the network, in the event of terminating or losing a network connection This may include a mobility operation (e.g., handover); an RRC state transition; a radio link failure; or a change of PSCell. In accordance with configuration information specifying measurements and data collection for AI/ML model training, received from a source network node, the UE handles the AI/ML data according to one of several procedures. The UE may deleted it; send it to a target RAN node with which it reestablishes a network connection; continue to perform AI/ML measurements; indicate to the target RAN node the availability of previously collected data; or indicate to the target RAN node whether the AI/ML measurement configuration was configured by the source node.
