MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511015541 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 22, 2025, for Handle Grip Installation Device.

Inventors include Dr. Durgesh Wadhwa; and Dr. Naresh Pratap.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: A handle grip installation device, comprises of a platform 101 having multiple suction cups 102 for securing the platform 101 in proximity to an object having a handle, a microphone 103 to provide input voice commands regarding fabrication of the handle, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 105 to determine dimensions of the handle, a robotic arm 106 to acquire a grip of the selected sleeve from the chamber 104, for engaging over a horizontal member arranged with the platform 101 , multiple rectangular bars 107 arranged adjacently to each other, by means of extendable pins 108 to extend/retract for expanding the sleeve as per dimensions of the handle, multiple pop out balls 110 to rotate for sliding the member back, an ultrasonic sensor for monitoring extra ends of the sleeve, and a motorized cutter 111 for cutting the sleeve’s extra portions, in view of removing the extra ends.
