Abstract: ABSTRACT HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR A DENTAL IMPRESSION TRAY The present invention relates to a handle assembly for a dental impression tray, comprising a main handle, tray clamp, angulation joint and side handle. The tray clamp engages metal, plastic or custom acrylic trays. The angulation joint permits variation of the main handle orientation between 0° and 90°. The side handle provides additional stabilization of a mandibular tray during tongue movement. The assembly facilitates handling and stabilization during border molding, including manipulation of buccal, labial and distolingual flanges, and permits detachment and repeated use.
