Abstract: A handheld raking assistive device for mortar joints, comprising an elongated body 101 having proximal and distal end, a handle 102 gripped by user to position distal end on vertical support, an imaging unit 103 determines condition of mortar joints of support, a pair of motorized wheels 104 arranged on lateral sides of distal end assisting user in moving body 101 over joint, a pair of telescopically operated rods 105 configured within body 101 via a motorized slider 106 for deploying rods 105 to extend/retract for positioning a conical blade 107 arranged on ends of rods 105 over extra mortar, a laser measurement sensor embedded in body 101 determines thickness of extra mortar in joint, a motorized hinge 108 integrated between slider 106 and rods 105 tilt blade 107 towards joint, and further wheels 104 rotate for moving blade 107 over mortar joint to scrap extra mortar from joint.
